
![]() Fred's watercolor paintings are truly representative of fine art.   Although his original paintings are no longer for sale, collectors are buying the fine quality giclée* reproductions of his award-winning paintings, displayed here for sale. A native of Tennessee, Fred was an active studio artist, instructor, commercial artist, and illustrator until 2001. He received instruction at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, TN, the Corcoran School of Art in Washington D.C., and the prestigious Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts in Gatlinburg, TN. He is a talented artist in oil painting, handmade papermaking, pulp painting, dimensional art, as well as watercolor. Transparent Watercolor is his preferred medium. Fred was once known as the “Tennessee Barn Artist.” He is returning to that project, and currently documenting and painting “Barns of the South,” including some of the remaining “See Rock City” barns.
